SHE Policy Statement

Bomphile Holdings (PTY)Ltd is totally committed to the provision of Safe and Healthy working conditions for the prevention of work-related injury and ill health, pollution and will conform to the requirements of the ISO 45001:2018 Health and Safety Management System Standard.

The scope of the SHE Management System includes all activities relating to the company.

The Senior Management Team and staff of Bomphile Holdings (PTY)Ltd, commit to this:

Ensuring that this SHE Policy is appropriate to the nature and scale of the organisations SHE risks and opportunities;
Ensuring that this SHE Policy is aligned with the SHE hazards identification and risk/opportunity assessment outcomes;
Ensure that risk assessment, incident investigations are conducted;
Ensure employees are adequately trained in order to reduce risks;
Continually improving the SHE system;
Complying as a minimum with current applicable legislation, regulations and other requirements to which the organisation subscribes ;
Explicitly committing to prevent injuries and ill-health and protect the environment;
Eliminating SHE hazards and reduce SHE risks associated with the company’s activities and processes that may impact the health and safety of the employees and the environment and considering the application of the hierarchy of controls;
Ensuring that this SHE policy provides a framework for setting and reviewing SHE objectives and targets;
Ensuring that the organisational leadership will demonstrate their commitment to this policy requirements and be involved in the SHE Management system.
Ensuring the communication, consultation and participation of workers and workers’ representatives across the organization, on SHE related matters;
Ensuring that this SHE Policy is available to all interested and affected parties;
Ensuring that this SHE Policy is documented, implemented, maintained, communicated and understood by all its employees, visitors and other service providers thereby creating awareness for each of the individual SHE obligations.
This SHE policy will be reviewed every two years to remain relevant and appropriate to the organisation’s SHE risks.
